Another birthday card!

Another birthday card in puple and pink!

I used Matilda Muffinbread from Stamping bella; colored with copics and decorated with stickles. The muffin Matilada holds in her hands is of pink fun flock decorated with pearls to give the muffin a fluffy strawberry icing.
The designer paper is from Tilda - a Danish desinger. Cardstock ist from SU. I also used flower buttons and paper ribbons. Additionally I tried to color the backround with a brush and ink. I still have to practice a lot. But the result comes close to what I do have in mind.

Two birthday cards!

I discovered that I need a lot of birthday cards in February. This time I designed "decent" ones for "elderly ladies". One is for my grandmother who is getting 99. She is nearly blind but can at least see some colors - therefore I used bright and bold colors so she can at least have an imagination of the colors.

Here is another example for an old aunt of mine.

The images are "Doodle That" from Stampin' Up. The images are colored with the copic blender pen slightly dipped into the copics to receive the soft fading effect. The paper is from My Mind's Eye. Both cards are embellished with rhinestones or pearls.

Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge No. 60

Yesterday I had a "hard" day in terms of card-making. I had 5 kids sitting around my dining table all eager to create a card of their own. So I supervised all 5 of them and tried to produce a card for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge.

So this is the result:

I used "lattebella" as the image. Cardstock is from SU and the designer paper is from imaginisce. Bella is colored with copics.

Just Us Girls Challenge No. 19

Another weekend - another Just Us Girls Challenge.

This time I used one of my favourite images from Stamping Bella: Partygirlbella. I tried a new technique which I always admire - the way you girls color the backround. I am not a 100% happy with the result. I need more practice. But the way seems to be right. Sponging the backroud with ink.

As usual Bella is colored with copics and embellished with stickles. The littel hearts around the scallops are usually used to decorate finger nails. But as they are so tiny they just work perfect as stamping embellishment.

Cardstock is from SU; the designer paper is "Pretty please" from My mind's eye.

Sorry gils I forgot the thrid circle. I printed the template in black and white and it was not visble. Hope it counts nevertheless!
