This is the birthday card I created for my husband. Grillafella is doing what my husband loves in summer - barbecueing! I used his favourite colours - normally he is wearing a red polo shirt and blue trousers.

It is not very easy to create a "male" card. Even a ribbon can look female. So I used bast as a ribbon.

Bellarific Friday

This week I was totally inspried by the Bellarific Friday sktech by http://stampingbella.com/blog/.
I used the stamp pot's o stuff from stamping bella using the colours red and apple green. I think the colours just match perfect. The flowers and flower pots are embellised with rhinestones. I also used breads manufactured by making memories. The designer paper is a free download from
the UK magazine PaperCraft inspirations. See http://www.papercraftinspirationsmagazine.co.uk/. There are wonderful papers which you can download for free.

Template Challenge MTTC 04

This is this weeks template challenge by http://laurenm.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/

As I currently adore the Template Pretty Petal Pocket I used it. For the cental petal is embossed vellnum and coloured it with the matching copics. The result was quite amazing. As this pocket has no purpose yet, I did not use any sentiments.

So here is my entry for the challenge. Hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Last but not least - Petal Pocket template

From the moment I saw the Petal Pocket Template created by http://laurenm.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/ I was fallen in love. I was seaching for an occasion to use it. With this cute little bag I want to say thank you to my mon who is taking care of my 3 children giving them wonderful school vacation and me a couple of "kids-free" time to relax. I know she loves chocolate.

I think I start "mass-production" with this bag. It's quite a lot of work. But it is so cute!

Happy birthday with Juggabella

Here I tested some brand new copis I purchased on saturday - fuchsia and red violett. These two colours are gorgeous. I combinded them with kiwi and I think it matches perfect! The hearts as well as Bella's skirt is embellished with stickles. I also used rhinestones to set some eyecathers.

Up-dating

This is a nice little glittery card I created for a little girl who will start to go to school end of August! I used "Enhanted Lily" from Pink Cat Studio and coloured her with copics and loads of glitter. Both pink papers are glittering too!

An experiment

I stamped "Branching out owlies" from Stamping Bella on Vellnum - and it worked. Copics do react differently. They do not soak into the paper rather "sit" on it. The result is a transparent shining image. I higlighted the upside down owl with a "moon". The sentiments are German and mean something like : "Don't let yourself down!"

A creative day!

This is my second card I produced today! Using AmyRs Friday Challenge as template I made another "Bella" card. Here is the result.

I used Huggybella and my brandnew memento ink. I must admit it works perfect with copics. No smears no fading out. Just perfect. Parts of the cardstock is from SU and others from kars (marrakech paper pad). And of course it is a must that Bella has the 'bling'!

Hope you like this card!

Time for another challenge!

Inspired by the challenge of http://prairiepaperandink.typepad.com I created the following birthday card:
I used the image of springtini from Stamping Bella coloured with copics and lots of glitter to give the drink the necessary 'bling'. The paper is marrakech paper pad from kars (BasicGray). THe circle is embossed with my Cuttlebug!

The buttons are heirlooms from my mother in law. She gave me a huge box full of different buttons a long time ago. Now I can use them for my cards. Some look a bit worn which give the cards a vintage look. What you can't see on the photo the butterfly is fixed with dimensionals. Cardstock and sentiment are from SU.

Huggabugg

Just a quick post in my blog to show you my latest creation. I used the image "Cupcake with HUGGABUGG" on from stamping bella. The Huggabugg is coloured with copic and the glitter comes from stickles. I also used my new brand new embossing template and dies for my Cuttlebug and my new butterfly punch.
The paper is a free download from the UK magazine "Paper crafting".

Thanks for looking! And have a nice weekend!
