Two birthday cards!

I discovered that I need a lot of birthday cards in February. This time I designed "decent" ones for "elderly ladies". One is for my grandmother who is getting 99. She is nearly blind but can at least see some colors - therefore I used bright and bold colors so she can at least have an imagination of the colors.

Here is another example for an old aunt of mine.

The images are "Doodle That" from Stampin' Up. The images are colored with the copic blender pen slightly dipped into the copics to receive the soft fading effect. The paper is from My Mind's Eye. Both cards are embellished with rhinestones or pearls.

Birthday card set

This week is my mom's birthday. I wanted to make hers some personal gifts as top ups. So I created a set with birthday cards which she can send to friends.

I used the colors brown, pink and white. The stamps are "Simply Said" from SU. I made the designer paper myself stamping pale pink and brown flowers on white cardstock. To give the whole thing an elegant look I used a lot of glitter.

I can't wait to see what she is thinking about.

I did it!

I did my first "Draw Card". I found somewhere in internet the instruction for a draw card (forgot where!). I have seen those cards a couple of times but I never revealed the miracle of the technique behind. I took me one and a half hour to create the basic card! I was ranting and raving about the technique till a had the flash of inspiration and openting up the card hundeds of times..

But now see the result:

Supply list:
Images: Partigirlbella and happy birthday sentiment from Stamping Bella
Heart Border and Birthday wishes sentiment from Stampin' up!
Ink: Memento black and prune
Cardstock: Purple: no name: vanilla white: SU
Coloring: Copics in various pink and purple shades
Embellisment: Stickles, pearls and satin ribbon.

Thanks for looking

Another christmas card!

I was hooked with the stamp - a tree for all seasons - by Stampin up! I punched a whole in the card and placed the image on white cardstock behind. As I purchased two different snowflake punches at the weekend I had to use them. What you can't really see is the paper of the snowflakes. Shimmering in various rainbow colours!
The get the tree a wintery look I filled a foil pocket with embossing powder to give the whole the look of a shaker card. So when you shake it you get the impression of having snow!

Stampin up!

I did not purely use Stampin up material! The snowflakes are embossed and decorated with rhinestones! The large snowflake is covered with a foil which is filled with glitter to add a certain glitter!

Christmas during sunshine!

A couple of weeks ago, I did a stamping up workshop!

This are the results! Four different cards with different techniques.

Today I altered one card.
