My Timess Challenge

It's a long time ago that I updated my blog. Holidays kept me busy. Now everything is back to normal and I have time to produce some cards. So I participated at one of my favourite challenges of http://laurenm.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/

I used the image Lily&Billy Sweethearts Stamps from Pink Cat Studio. The frame is made of Angelina fibres a material which I sometimes use to embellish artistic quilts. So I tried to "iron" a frame betweet two sheets of baking paper. The result is always a big surprise. You do not know exactly how it will look like. I made some "adjustments" with my scissors. I deliberately did not use any designer paper to leave the emphasis on the frame. What you can't see from the picture is the virtue colour of the frame. It is shimmering in various rainbow colours. The dots are liquird pearls. There is no other embellishment used.

I used one of my favourite images for Pink Cat Studio - Enchanted Lily. Lily is coloured with copics and glitter is added with sickles. Embellisment of buttons, pentals ribbon, Roncaille beads.

Inspire Challenge MTTI 02

I was very hard thinking about this one because these colours do not belong to my favourites. I was of the opinion that it should be something straight and plain. I coloured the hearts fixed to the white ribbon with the coloures of the challenge. The stamp is "cutesty hearts" from Stamping Bella. I gave the card deliberately no bling!

I used partybella, coloured with my brandnew copics (!), decorated with breads and rhinestones.

The papers are downloads from the UK papercrafting magazine www.papercraftinspirationsmagazine.co.uk/.

For me this is a good souce of inspiration too. And the papers and templates which can be download for free are gorgeous!

My Time to Colour Challenge by Lauren Meader

And this is my implementation:

Both cards have the same layout but various colours. They are made of the scallped punch from SU cut into hearts and then embossed and coloured with chalk and stickles.
